A Study in Movement

The first step of this project had us observe movement and discover how our bodies take up space.
It was during my walk home when I realized how objects closer to me appeared to move faster when I pivoted, while objects farther away stayed in view longer.

Using the information I collected in the first part of this project, I created an abstracted version of my collage using scrap cardboard and spray paint. I layered the cardboard similarly to how I layered my photos.
My movement and gestures were documented by painting my feet and seeing where I spent most of my time.
